256-bit AES Encryption
Every file you upload is encrypted at rest using AES-256, the same standard used by financial institutions and government agencies. Your documents are unreadable to anyone without your credentials.
TLS in Transit
All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is protected by TLS 1.3 encryption. Your information is never exposed over the network in plain text.
Supabase Infrastructure
Our database and file storage run on Supabase, an enterprise-grade PostgreSQL platform with automatic backups, point-in-time recovery, and 99.9% uptime SLA.
Clerk Authentication
User authentication is handled by Clerk, a dedicated identity platform with built-in protection against brute force attacks, credential stuffing, and session hijacking.
Stripe Payment Security
All payment processing is handled exclusively by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider. Family Fortress never stores your full card number or CVV.
Granular Access Controls
You decide exactly who sees what. Family members can be granted viewer, editor, or admin access. You can revoke access at any time, instantly.

Request account deletion and all your data — documents, family records, and personal information — is permanently removed within 48 hours.
We use minimal data collection
We collect only what is necessary to provide the service. We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics that share your data.
Responsible Disclosure
If you discover a security vulnerability in Family Fortress, we ask that you report it to us responsibly. Please do not publicly disclose the issue until we have had a reasonable opportunity to investigate and address it.
